ONES TRIALS SHALL ALWAYS BE TOUGHER AND ONE MAY NEVER RECOVER.....

Only when one walks and talks and does all things in and through and for the Lord and the Lord alone...

Only when a person is at all times united to Jesus Christ and the Father through the Most Holy Spirit
Shall ones challenges and trials not prevail over him!

When one Loves GOD, and goes to HIM and trrough HIM for all things... That the Lord of HOSTS HIMSELF fights his battles for him & through him...

Then and only then will a mans challenges become Gloriously Triumphant through out his life if and only and as he GIVES GOD all the credit for all things in his life!

HIS OIL AS ALL NOW CAN SEE NOT ONLY HEALS BUT CAN KILL...

When oh men and women too down in Louisiana turn your face to ME FOREVER, hide and harden not your hearts!
Fall to your knees in TRUE REPENTANCE BEFORE ME THE KING OF KINGS and I WHO FORMED THE EARTH, THE SEAS AND ALL WITHIN IT...

I SHALL EVAPORATE MY OIL FROM YOUR GULF WATERS FOR MY MERCY IS GREATER THAN MY WRATH,

HOW LONG HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR YOUTO TURN FROM YOUR LIENG, CHEATING, STEALING, DISHONEST WAYS!

 Lenten Reflection

 Dear Friends,

 Fr. Brian Martin Mulcahy, O.P.
Now that we have entered the Lenten season, I would like to share with you a
meditation from Fr. Brian Martin Mulcahy, O.P.

At the start of every Lenten Season, on the First Sunday of Lent, the
Church, in her wisdom, always gives us the account of our Lord's Temptation
in the Desert for our consideration and reflection. The temptations that
Christ suffered in the desert for forty days at the start of His public
ministry were not His first temptations, nor would they be the last
temptation of Christ. In St. Luke's account of the Temptation, which we are
given this year, we read: *When the devil had finished every temptation, he
departed from Him for a time*. That next "time" would be in Christ's Passion
and Death, when our Lord would be tempted to flee the suffering and the
pain.

Oftentimes, when *we* speak of being tempted, of our own experience of
temptation, we speak of the struggle with our desire for something
pleasurable: be it another human being, a piece of chocolate cake, or a
large sum of money. The struggle arises when we realize that other factors
must be taken into consideration; that our lives consist of more than just
the accumulation of pleasurable experiences.

However, that is a very limited, restricted notion of what it means to
undergo temptation. That is *not *the type of temptation our Lord
experienced during His forty days in the desert. Such a limited notion of
temptation depicts the world and our lives as a place filled with beautiful,

NO ONE IS ACCEPTED AND LOVED EVERY WHERE BY EVERYONE! JESUS WASN'T SO WHY DO WE LOOK TO BE?

Certainly GOD created all of us to love HIM and each other.... But let us remember that was before the first sin of pride ever took place!

When Lucifer decided that being a "Bearer of GOD's LIGHT" was not enough for him... 
He claimed The Light to be his own... and was cast from heaven to romp and roam upon thr earth which he knows will never be his own...

From this point on temptations to taste and try things the evil one makes appear to be good have been harder for some to pass up.

Remember however GOD never tempts us...  "HE Lead us NOt into temptation and HE Delivers us from all evil"

So when anyone you or I meet or greet along any street, invites you to join them at the neighborhood bar for a drink or two....

Or let's go down to Burbon Street where the Go-Go Girly strippers are....

You instead invite them to join you to Mass and ask your Pastor if he would... hear their confession even if it is not part of the schedule....

And give this fellow some ashes today would you?  He came to late for AshWednesday, but it is never too late to come home to Our Lord's House where has made ready a room for each one...

HE has prepared a Supper Table an Altar where HE yearns to feed each one...  with HIS own Flesh and Blood and HIS Holy Word which is our sustance for our journey through Trails of Trials and Tribulations...  Satan cannot devour us unless we let him...

Being filled with GOD's Body and Covered with HIS Blood and knowing HIS Most Holy Words so that we can Speak it back to the devil upon his temptation...

Will keep Satan running away from us searching for a more vulnerable victim...

But let us join hands and hearts in both prayer and Sacrament and JESUS CHRIST WILL GAIN our victory In us Through us and For us!

A spirit filled, spirit led man woman or child, knows how to embrace his or her interuptions as Divine Appointments with Our Lord,
That HE may lead them into a place of Blessing where HE wants to use them to bring life and light into darkness and open new windows of oppertunity....

Not only for those we had not planned to see that day...
But ones-self too shall always receive abundantly and never be docked for obeying and flowing with the Divine insprations of Our Lord....   HE rewards joyful, obedience reaching out in love...

So let not ones schedule be so ridgid that one cannot let GOD place ones steps....  For our answered prayers and dreams often hang balanced in scales that we tip ourselves with our own choices!

We can choose the better...HIS best part and HE promises it will not be taken from us!
